Child Safe Environment Training

Auctus collaborates with Keeping it Simply Smart to deliver the updated Child Safe Environment Training, now known as “Through Their Eyes”.

This workshop is a requirement for all Mandated Notifiers in South Australia and outlines new legislative and mandatory requirements for all people working and/or volunteering with children and young people.

The workshop outlines the reporting mechanisms and maintaining a child safe environment where children can feel safe, respected, encouraged, valued and should have the right to feel safe at all times, no matter their environment.

Through Their Eyes training explores how you can prevent and report child abuse and neglect as part of your legal and moral obligations.

NOTE: it is expected that all people working and/or volunteering with children and young people in South Australia have this training as part of their employment and also renew this important training as part of their employment every 2 to 3 years (currency requirements). You will be issued a certificate of completion as part of the workshop, signed by one of SA’s leading accredited trainers.

Encouraging and interactive, this short course is both theory and practical, building confidence and technique-based learning to unlock the potential within. The course is generic in design with a purpose to prepare for potentially undertaking a nationally accredited course leading to employment and/or a traineeship.
